Multi-disciplinary Artist / Creative Technologist

Yun-Hsuan Cheng is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, originally from Taiwan. Her practice spans creative programming, experimental sound, audiovisual design, kinetic installation, and live coding, with a particular focus on the critical and creative applications of artificial intelligence. Engaging with socially and politically charged subjects, her work examines the intersections of personal and collective identity within technological frameworks.

Her work has been exhibited at GLAMFA (Long Beach, California), the Taiwan ART X TECH Festival Exhibition, the Tech Art Campus Exhibition (Taiwan), and the MFA Showcase at the California Institute of the Arts.

Independent contractor specializing in real-time virtual production pipelines. Delivered end-to-end Technical Artist work across live performance, cinematic rendering, and character development — encompassing motion capture integration, MetaHuman rigging, Chaos Cloth simulation, Niagara VFX, and virtual camera design in Unreal Engine 5. Clients include live entertainment productions and collaborative theater companies.
