Bio

Yunhsuan Cheng is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Los Angeles California. She was born and raised in Taiwan. She explores creative programming, experimental sound, audiovisual design, kinetic installation, live coding, as well as works involving and discussing the use of AI. She discusses socially controversial and political subjects, particularly aspects of personal and collective identity, as well as how that relates to technology. She has collaborated with musicians, dancers, and other artists to create experiences that challenge traditional boundaries between art forms. She is in her final year of a masters in Art and Technology at California Institute of the Arts.

Her works have been exhibited in Taiwan ART X TECH Festival Exhibition, Tech Art Campus Exhibition (Taiwan),and the MFA showcase at California Institute of the Arts.
